I describe a boss, amongst many other things, as one who is a leader, makes a decision even when huge risks are involved, accepts failure, learn from it and move on, acknowledge and own their

mistakes, seek wise counsel and follow their heart even when family and friends question their judgment and believe they are making the biggest mistake of their life. This concept also applies to fashion. You can not make wise outfit choices if you don't act like a lady and don't think like a boss.

Acting like a lady and thinking like a boss when it comes to fashion is seeing something you like being worn by someone else, but when you purchase it and wear it, you make it fit your personality. It means knowing when to say no and walking away when something looks good on the mannequin but not on you. It means you are making wise spending choices - if you don't have the money to buy it, than you just can't get it. A boss lady does not get into credit card debt or does not pay her bills to have the latest item off a runway or department store rack. Instead, she manages her money wisely and includes in her budget an affordable allowance to purchase something for the hard work she did, the hell she went through and sacrifices made to earn her paycheck.

We all can get caught up into supporting habits that bring no value and leave us broke in the end; believe me, I've been there before and that's another story for another day!
